I have been following the Iran–Israel–US war very closely, searching for its true spiritual implications and meaning, if any. I found it interesting that both Iran and Israel refer to this conflict as a holy war, and both believe it will trigger the return of their Messiah. One headline reads, “The Messiah Is Coming This Year, and the War with Iran Is the Proof” (Israel365 News, Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, March 8, 2026).

My brothers and sisters, don’t be deceived. “For many will come in Jesus’ name, claiming to be the Messiah, and will deceive many people” (Matthew 24:5). Think about it. Those on the Jewish side of this war believe that their Messiah will return to sit in the Third Temple. They are actually professing that their Messiah is arriving now—this year.

Many in the US military leadership profess that this war is to bring about Armageddon so that Jesus will return. While the Muslims, alongside the Iranians, are professing that Donald Trump is the antichrist and therefore, they too are claiming this is a holy war and that the US is the great Satan. While the Jews are declaring this is a holy war because it started on Purim.

So, what is GOD saying concerning all that is occurring? I want to refer to a prophecy and a dream I had in 2020.

​​If we go back to January 2020, mainstream news was reporting on the ever‑increasing tension between the US and Iran. The tension was so high at that time that many believed the US and Iran were going to end up at war. This led to the prophetic words I spoke on Monday, January 15, 2020:

“Quite a few people think we are going to war with all the things happening in Iran. Even some Christians are thinking and saying this. But this is not the case.

I explained to Felicia, Newford Ministries’ CSO, that Iran is not a real threat. They are barking like dogs with no real power to carry out what they are threatening to do without outside help.

Then I told her that this next point was just me speaking. Based on what the Scriptures say in Ezekiel, when we see Germany come into the picture as a real threat, then the Church should really take note, because the threat is real at that point.”

Here is a good example of why I can say Iran is not a threat: notice how quickly the people can go from supporting their government and chanting together ‘Death to America,’ and the next week they are protesting that same government.
