The number one question asked when tragic hits a community, a family, or a nation. Where is God? Why does He not intervene? Which eventually leads to this statement. He could have stopped this if He wanted to. These are understandable probing questions that we should examine.

To understand or to begin to attempt to fairly address these questions. We got to go back to a significant event in mankind’s history. And the best authority on this is our Holy Scriptures.

At Genesis chapter 1, at verse 26, reads.
​

This event is significant. And we got to understand what is taking place here to understand why God cannot just pop up every time mankind creates a disastrous event in our life and solve it at the snapped of a finger. 

When God decided, He was going to create a human race to resemble and represent Him on the earth. He did not create us and then placed a programmable chip in us so that we will automatically respond appropriately to His every command. He could have, but that is not what He opted to do. Instead, He took our spirit beings, gave us a soul (a physical body), coded each of our DNA so that we could reflect His characteristics perfectly, and then equipped us with the ability to freely choose if we want to obey or not.

Then God made a legal transaction that changed the game. We see this at Genesis 1:26. Let’s look at a different Bible version of that Scripture.

Right there, God was making a legal transaction between Himself and man. God legally removed Himself from the affairs of man and gave man full responsibility to take care of what rightfully belongs to Him on His behalf.

Now, let’s not misconstrue what I am saying here. Because God is not aloof (distant, hands-off, or a far-off God). That is far from His nature, and this is clearly shown throughout the Bible. So, to understand what God did at Genesis 1:26, let’s look at a few examples. 
​

One way we can understand this is through a legal transaction through the foster care system. A young couple is looking to adopt a child. Upon being matched with a child, the guardian who is represented by the foster care agency draws up all the required legal documents to transfer all legal parents' rights to the new parents. For the new parents to be granted legal rights over the child, the biological parents must first relinquish all their parental rights. Once this is done, the biological parents no longer are legally responsible or have the right to make decisions for the child. All their rights are legally turned over to the new parents. The new parents are now responsible for making all moral, health, financial, and social decisions for the child.

This is what God was doing at Genesis 1:26. Just like the biological parents completely removed themselves from the responsibility of caring and making decisions for the newborn and passing that right onto another. Similarly, when God decided to create the human race. He elected to pass onto this race all His legal rights and authority to govern over them. He provided them with a roadmap to show them the best way for them to live and govern themselves. (Compare to Deuteronomy chapter 28). But allowed men to decide if they want to follow that path or not.

Now, as we examine history over the years. Some have chosen to follow God’s roadmap, while others have not. And these outcomes have resulted in different results for individuals and groups. But we are not focusing on that today. Because we only have addressed half of our original question – where is God? Why does He not intervene in mankind’s affairs? Which eventually leads to this statement. He can stop all forms of corruption if He wants to. And these are true. We must acknowledge that. God is well capable of doing so. 

But if we do not have a clear understanding of what has taken place at Genesis 1:26, then we misinterpret what appears to be a lack of intervention on God’s part. Which triggers us to ask those natural probing questions – WHERE IS GOD! WHY DOESN’T HE INTERVENE! HE CAN IF HE WANTS TO!

Genesis 1:26 gives us the foundational answer we are seeking to answer those questions. And simply put. God has given man full authority to be responsible for, to rule over, to reign over, to have dominion over; that is, complete authority over the entire earth and all of its intricate parts.

Let me explain it another way. You work for a large company like Samsung Electronics. The owner of the company comes by your office one day and says to you. I am promoting you to the CEO of my company to run all its operations. You accept the new role. Now, the owner still owns the company, but what he has done legally is transfer the rights he has as the owner to govern over his business and make decisions to you. As a result, the owner completely backs away from all business activities and trusts that you will manage all his affairs well. Now, remember, the owner is only transferring to you his power and authority to make decisions for the company on his behalf. So, if it ever gets to a point, where bad decision making and poor management or leadership on your part is about to destroy his company. He can remove you from your position, and rescue and restore his company. 

Again, this is what has occurred at Genesis 1:26. God has given to the sons of man the legal authority to manage the affairs of the earth well. (See Psalm 115:16). Therefore, whenever problems occur on the earth, technically, based on the principle there at Genesis 1:26. It is man’s responsibility, not God’s, to fix them. But we can go deeper than that. Because technically, if man was leading, governing and managing over the affairs of the earth in a just way in the first place. Then there will never be a need for corrective actions to correct problems.

This is why God has given to the sons of man the ability to “bind” and “loose” things on the earth. [“Bind” and “loose” are legal actions and terms.] So, when things go wrong or haywire on the earth, in our country, in our community, in our homes, or with us as individuals, we have the authority to bind and loose them. But to achieve the full benefit of these legal actions, we have to always first, look within – at us (1 Corinthians 13:4-6). Where did we go wrong in our decision-making process, in the way we are leading, managing or governing that has resulted in the problems that exist or that have overtaken us?

Now, when we examine ourselves with integrity, this does not necessarily answer those questions for us when problems or tragedy occurs - why God has not come to our rescue or prevented the bad outcome altogether? This is extremely difficult to answer because this can go so many different ways. After all, there are too many factors that can come into play. For instance, there are some situations where God did intervene, while there are many situations where God did not. And it didn’t matter if you are a Christian or not. God works in mysterious ways. 

There have been situations where God blessed His people. Just as there have been situations where God has blessed unbelievers. (Compare to Matthew 5:45). God has punished or extended judgment on both – the righteous and the unrighteous. Just the same, there have been situations where God rescued His people from scary situations. And He has done the same for unbelievers. But God has in cases chosen not to intervene, resulting in not only unbelievers but also servants of God losing their lives. There are just too many factors that can come into play that we will never really be able to get a clear answer to why God did or did not intervene in a situation. Not unless God reveals the truth concerning a matter to His loyal prophets [in some cases, He will reveal to other servants, but He usually reveals it to His prophets (compare to Amos 3:7)].

What we need to understand is this. The plight we find ourselves in is at our own doing – the hands of man. Therefore, we the people, have to take responsibility for that – our own faults and failures within our society and personal lives.

If we want God to intervene in this mess we have before us today, because we see where this nation is heading if He doesn’t. We got to acknowledge our part in this. And plea guilty before a mighty and gracious God. Enter a plea of guilty.

“God, I am guilty.” And then state your role in this nation’s current mess. “I am guilty of….” And then ask God for His forgiveness. For ignoring His promptings, His warnings, His true prophets and servants who declared to the people what they need to know and do. “God, I repent. Please forgive me for my actions….” Rename those actions if you feel it's necessary. And then ask God to intervene. To save us, this nation from its fallen state. Ask for more time to get our lives right, our nation right in align with God’s intentions for us and this nation. And then after that, it is completely up to God. God will have to weigh us, this nation, His Church, we the people in the balance. He will have to weigh all the factors and decide if it is more just to act and intervene in our affairs? Or is it more just for us to feel the full penalty of our sins and for God not to intervene. Either way, we have to trust His decisions are always right, just, and fair.

 speak in part, according to His will. I am just grateful that God considers me worthy to be used on any platform, regardless of the number of viewers, listeners, or followers. If God sees fit for me to reach only one soul, so be it; it is my godly duty to minister to that one soul as though I were speaking to millions. Personally, I desire no more responsibility than what God feels I am able to disciple effectively.
Moving on from that. My focus today is Donald Trump.

I am simply going to speak exactly as it was given to me….
​

In the court before Almighty God, Jehovah Elyon, I feel that many Christians who say President Trump is like Cyrus the Great, the king of Persia, are leaving out an important point in the case of President Trump. Trump’s presidency is threefold and should not be taken lightly.
​

My mom is probably going to kill me if she reads this because of what I’m about to say.

I really had no interest in sharing this. But God placed this heavy on my spirit this morning and I could not shake it no matter how much I was trying to ignore His prompting. I just finally yelled out. “LORD, you want me to share that too!” God knows I really don’t like sharing stuff. But I do so out of love and respect for Him and at His request ONLY. But this morning, I really, really, did not want to do what the LORD was asking until I heard Him say. 
​

I did not have a comeback for that one. Like a temperamental child, I just rolled my eyes and said under my breath – “yes LORD.”

Yes, I didn’t like it one bit until I began to write, and the LORD began to speak to me as I was writing. 
​

Except for a few people – myself of course. My doctor. My best friend and ministry partner. And my two children who only knew what I needed them to know. They were not aware of how serious my situation really was. But they knew there were some concerns.

Death was at my door recently. I’m not going to get into the particulars of some of the health issues I have had. But my situation had reached a point that was so bad as far as my lab numbers. That death literally was staring me in my face. I was a prime symbol of the walking dead.

As I stated before, death was literally at my door. My doctors and her staff wanted to admit me into the hospital for some life-saving procedures.  (Which at some point I did refuse after much prayer).

BUT! Nothing in my spirit heighten me to the level where I was concerned on the same level as the medical staff around me. Even though I could not deny what the numbers were saying. Nor could I hide or deny my symptoms and how I was feeling. I literally could feel death at my door.

But, despite what was going on all around me and within me, I was not concerned. I was not afraid of dying. The reason being was because I had finally come to understand the truth behind and about death.

Now, I heard quite a few people say, “You live and then you die.” But that is not true if you live in Christ. That is if you really live in Christ.

Living and then dying is not all there is to life. That is a lie from the pit of hell. Now, let me sidetrack for a moment and say this. Yes, that is all you get out of life – ‘you live and then you die,’ if that’s all you really put into life. If you have failed to really build a relationship with Christ during your life. Yes, you live and then you die, and you really do not experience the life God intended for you because you choose to live for yourself and not for Christ. So then, you live and then you die. Therefore, you only get to experience the temporary things of life as you choose to play life out.

However, when you discover Christ as I have and surrender everything for his name sake, as I have. You live, your body then dies, but you go on and live forever. There is an eternal life that the Church does not properly teach nor talk about enough. So, the massive have come to believe this is all there is to life.

But for those who are in Christ – rooted in our Savior, they know this life and the body we are housed in are temporary. For those who are truly rooted in Christ, there is eternal life. Therefore, I knew where I was going if I died and greeted death with a kiss. And I don’t say that in vain or as a cliché. Because I know the life I am living and those around me know the Spirit that resides in me and the good fruits that I am bearing and have bear.

So, I do not fear death. I embrace and welcome it whenever it comes. For death is a continuation of life – eternal life that many of us do not understand.

My biggest concern when I was facing death about 2 weeks ago was for my children. Are they ready for me to go? Were they at a point in their lives that they can survive and thrive without me in their lives? Especially my granddaughter Talia. I was also concerned for my business/ministry partner. Not that I’m all that special. But could they survive emotionally without me?

This was my only hindrance and hesitation about possibly dying. Otherwise, I was at peace with it all. This is why many that follow me and the content on my social media and blog did not hear me post a single thing about it. Nor did I share my situation with family or friends. (1) I wasn’t really worried. I had concerns but was not fearful or worried. (2) I knew my prayers alone; God would hear them and answer.  I knew my prayers to my Father were not only powerful but worthy of a response because of my position, my authority, and my standing with Christ. (Compare to Matthew 7:13-14). I am in a good place with my LORD. So, I had no worries as far as that was concerned. And I really believe if it were my time, the LORD would have spoken that to me or my ministry partner.

In fact, the day before I really started to feel sick, and the day before I received that horrible telephone call from my doctor – my ministry partner received this word from the LORD.
​

Now, initially, she dismissed it. She thought that was no word from the LORD, but from the devil posing as an angel of light. And so, she immediately rebuked it and called down heaven upon hell concerning that word. Little did she and I knew after she shared it with me later that day, that that word was a warning from the LORD concerning me. We had no clue. We misread the LORD’s warning because we allowed our personal views to cloud a word from the LORD.

Well, the very next day after she received that word. I fell ill. Greatly ill. And then my doctor called me a few hours after I fell ill, which confirmed I had a very serious problem and death was at my door although my ministry partner and I at this point still had not put together 2 and 2. And no. Just in case any of you are trying to guess – IT WAS NOT COVID19. Let’s just say, my own body had decided to turn on itself. And I felt miserable. But despite this,

• I still prayed, praised, and worshiped God through it all
• I still conducted whatever Bible studies I had
• I still read my Bible when I had the strength to do so
• I still allowed God to use me to write, blog, and post my ministry content whenever He prompted me to do so

I did not stop living nor did I stop serving God nor did I question or blame God for the sudden turn of events that was taking place in my life. I didn’t allow fear to creep in. Nor did I stop believing that God is good, all-powerful, the great healer, and the universal King of all kings.

I don’t know who needed to hear that. But I have been obedient by sharing what the LORD required of me. Stay tuned because there is much more to come concerning this great testimony. God is good. He really is good. 

It is this point right here that people, especially God’s people, refuse to acknowledge and understand.

At 2 Chronicles chapter 12, in verse 1, it mentions Rehoboam, the son of King Solomon, who was reigning as king. When his kingdom became established and strong, he and all of Israel. This would include God’s people. They all forsake the law of the LORD.

Let us pause for a second and bring this to a more modern time for a minute. 
During the 2020 election, two men ran for the office of President of the United States – Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Now, I talked about this before pre, during, and post-election. If we looked at just three of the political issues (agendas) Joe Biden ran on alone. He and anyone who supported or voted for him run into a major issue not with man. That is a man or woman who may have taken a political position that is more conservative. But Joe Biden and his supporters and those who voted for him, not only created a conflict with God. But they have incited war against God and what God stands for. How so? Let’s look at that. 
​

​At Acts chapter 5, Gamaliel, a Pharisee, gave this warning to the entire Council (the religious body and the political leaders of that day) concerning the apostles (Jesus’ disciples) after the elite group put the apostles in jail but the apostles later that night was freed by God’s angel (Acts 5:17-19). Gamaliel warned, “… take care what you propose to do with these men (Acts 5:35). In verses 36 and 37, he reminded the Council what happened to men who were leading a social, political, or religious movement and their followers that have risen in the past. These individuals and groups that came about because of man’s planning eventually either were destroyed or faded over time. Therefore, Gamaliel recommended to the Council members concerning Jesus’ apostles that they should leave them alone because if these apostles were really from God. That the Council was not going to be able to overthrow it, no matter what they do or try. And if they decide to go after the apostles, that the entire Council would find themselves fighting against the apostles? No! Against God! (Acts 5:38-39).

Now, this is a very important point to give prayerful consideration to because of what will take place in God’s timing in the coming weeks. [And remember, God’s timing never looks like man’s timing. e.g., do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day. (1 Peter 3:8).]

Now, why should we give prayerful consideration to Gamaliel’s counsel to the religious and political elite during his day? Because if you are not on the right side of this issue, that is, what took place during the 2020 election, among other things, you may find yourself in the same plight or fate as King Rehoboam and his kingdom, which we will get back to in a minute.

Now note. The Council did take Gamaliel’s advice and left the apostles alone as he suggested (Acts 5:40). So, all the apostles were freed after being beaten up a little. And they all went off to continue the work of Christ (Acts 5:41-42).

So, how does Gamaliel’s advice fits with us today as far as fighting against, inciting war against God? How do we make that connection? Remember, Gamaliel said to these religious and political elites to leave God’s true servants (God’s remnant) alone.  For if they did not, the Council would be declaring war against the remnant of men and women God had handed picked Himself, chosen to use for His glory and purpose for that season.

This is no different today. You got to know that you know who God has handed picked for this season to lead His house, His people through this new season. For there has already been a changing of the guard in the Spirit. For every man, woman, and child that God has picked has been fully vetted, qualified, and personally tested, trialed, and tried by Him. (Compared to 1 Corinthians 12:11-28). Therefore, these qualified as His anointed vessels for this new season.

And if you do not know who these new leaders are. Or, if you refuse to accept these ones that God has handed picked for this season. Remember, the words of Gamaliel to the elite political and religious leaders in his day – you will be fighting against God.

Therefore, it is extremely important in this season, we are to be careful about what we say or do or what we propose toward the men and women – the remnant that God has handed pick for this season. If what a person does or says is of their own plans – IT WILL BE OVERTHROWN – NOTHING WILL BECOME OF IT. It does not matter if they proclaim that God has told them to do or say XYZ. It will become very clear that such is not from God. BUT! If a person has God’s backing, God’s approval, in this season, you will not be able to overthrow them with your actions, deeds, prayers, declarations, curses, or words. In fact, you will be inciting war against God by taking a defensive or offensive stance against God’s selected soldiers (His remnant for this season).
​
Therefore, it is critical, like life and death critical, to clearly know who God is backing and who He is not in this season. 
​

This is why the 2020 election is probably the most important election of all elections in mankind's history in the Spirit as well as in the natural. Who you supported and or voted for did really matter, despite the current fraudulent election results. For your support or vote automatically cast you on one side of the universal issue at hand. Or it automatically cast you on the opposing side.  (Compare to Matthew 7:13-14).

No matter how you put it or what excuse you provide. There was unconvincing evidence that people, especially God’s people were choosing sides with the vote you cast, or by supporting one candidate over another in the 2020 election. Your support or vote said to God, I am either for You (meaning for God) or I am against You. How so?

All anyone had to do during the 2020 election was to go to Joe Biden or Donald Trump’s presidential websites and look at their political issues or stance each took and compare their position with the Bible. If the political issue the candidate took did not conflict with the Scriptures. Or, it was more of a personal preference because no Bible principle or standard was being violated, then great. BUT! If a political stance by either candidate conflicted with God’s righteous standard in any way, and we are for God. Then we better checkmark the candidate whose political standards sided with God’s. To do so otherwise means you are coming up against God’s man, God’s choice, God’s plan. Therefore, whether you are a Christian or not, you have declared war against the Sovereign LORD of the universe because you oppose His direction.

So, just as a reminder. Below are three points each candidate during the 2020 election ran on that either agreed or conflicted with God’s position. Remember, these are non-negotiable issues from God’s standpoint because they must fit His standards and statutes. Otherwise, it is a direct conflict with what He says is right or wrong. We the people, from God’s standards, do not get to personally choose concerning these political issues below. We must take His position or otherwise, we are taking a defensive position, as in war, against something God says must be done or seen a certain way – no exception to the rule.
​
With that being said, Joe is on the left and his position. Trump’s position is to the right of Joe’s and his position. And God’s position is on the far-right end. 
​

Based purely on these three factors alone, which candidate sided with God? Which candidate declared war against God? This is how serious this thing is – how serious the past election was.

This is not about your personal preference. This is about God and His right to rule over what He has created.
​
So, we will come back to this in the end. So, let’s backtrack to 2 Chronicles, chapter 12, and pick up on Rehoboam’s situation and see how his circumstances play into ours today. 
​

​So, as we remembered, Rehoboam is finally well established and thriving throughout the nation. His kingdom is strong and doing well. But there is a major problem. Let’s read verse 1 again. 
​

Even though Rehoboam’s kingdom was doing well, they had forgotten God – His laws, decrees, principles, statutes, and even God Himself. The verse said they had forsaken God.

NOTE: This is no different from what we see today, especially when it came to our 2020 election. Too many Christians did not consult God to determine who was God’s choice. Instead, too many Christians went in the same direction as the world and decided to do what was right in their own eyes. And we see what that has clearly got us.
​
Now, according to the Scriptures, by this time, King Rehoboam had been in office for 5 years. And because the entire nation, including their king, had forgotten and forsaken God – they had gone against God’s preferred way for them. Taking a defensive war-like position against God. God decided to make this decision concerning them in verse 2. 
​

When the people, God’s people go against God’s plans, God’s direction, God’s preference for His creation, God responds by doing what He always has done throughout humankind’s history. (Compare to Hebrews 13:8). He removes or lifts His divine protection from over the nation, its people, and its king (or leaders); and allows another nation (typically their enemy) to come in and capture them as an act of God’s judgment for their disobedience. And as we read the remaining parts of chapter 12 of Chronicles as well as chapter 13, we see another nation comes in and overtakes King Rehoboam’s kingdom.

We got to realize, we as God’s people, when we step outside of God’s boundaries for us and choose a direction or to follow a person or a group, or partner with a person or group that does not have God’s backing, or they or it comes directly against what God represents or stands for; we are choosing sides as it relates to this universal issue – who has the right to rule over mankind and decide how we should live. It does not matter whether we are consciously or unconsciously aware of what we are doing or not. We have a right to choose. Therefore, we are choosing a side. And if at some point, we discover that we side with the wrong side, we better quickly make admits and get on the right side of things with God (that is repent) and make it right with God’s people. That is, notifying everyone you influenced, coached, or convinced, knowingly or unknowingly, who has followed your example or leading – that you had led them in the wrong direction. Because if they choose wrong because you led them wrong, then blood is on your hands. (Compare to Ezekiel 33:7-9).

Each one of us must seriously backtrack to the 2020 election day and reflect on how we voted or who we publicly supported. You must pray to God to allow you to see it through His eyes and contemplate what should be your next set of actions. And do not let PRIDE get in your way. For God makes it clear,

Some are about to go through a serious detox this year. This can be in reference to sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, etc. Whatever the form of detox, the purpose it's for is to draw many closer to God. ​

​As Felicia Crawford and I were conversing, I heard Holy Spirit and I was inspired say to Felicia - "This is your year of blessing." Many of the things she has been waiting on will occur this coming year - 2021. 

​This post triggered an old high school friend to reach out to me and respond the following to my post. And it was in that conversation between him and me that made a statement for the second time concerning how God sees him. But this time, God was clearly calling him into a specific role in God's kingdom. But this young man will have to sort out the details of words I have spoken to by means of Holy Spirit and decide for himself how and will he respond to God calling.
