To the body of christ
I want to start this blog off by saying, we, meaning the Body of Christ, “… know in part….” (1 Corinthians 13:9).
Now, recently, I, as one of Newford’s leaders, felt hard-pressed in my spirit for a week or so to share decisions our executive team was mentally battling. We felt we as a corporation, we needed to make a political stance concerning how we should handle political moves being made by social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, as it relates to their censoring individuals and organizations who express a conservative moral viewpoint. Now, we could have contemplated this decision privately and moved on once a decision was made. But there was this burning in my spirit to share publicly what we were deliberating as a corporation. Therefore, we set up an “Announcement” page on one of our corporate websites and posted our “LETTER OF EXPLANATION - SOCIAL MEDIA CENSORSHIP OF OUR FAITH,” to explain our intention concerning “Big Tech” censorship.
Now, at the time, I did not quite understand why I was being led to share a private corporate decision publicly. Until, this morning, when I stumbled across Brother Perry Stone’s YouTube video, A Prophetic Dream Now Interpreted - The Shutting Down of Religious Speech. (Click the link below to view Perry’s announcement).
After I listened to more than half of Perry’s video, the Spirit of the LORD began to speak. As Holy Spirit spoke, I began to write down what the Spirit of the LORD shared with me (Compare to John 16:13-15). And here is what I want to share with the Body of Christ.
the LORD thou God has one Body
To My Body, know this, you are Brothers and Sisters in the faith and there is no member in the Body who can say to another member of the Body, I have no need or use for you. (See 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 15-17 and 21-26). For we are one in the Body of Christ so that “… the members may have the same care for one another” (1 Corinthians 12:25).
To ensure there is “… no division in the Body…”, God shares and distributes His glory among the members of His Body. (See 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verses 11, 14, 18 and 27 through 30; also verses 4 through 10). Therefore, we, that is you all, members of the Body of Christ, “… know in part…” to prevent any member from being puffed up with pride (1 Corinthians 13:9).
We must understand this. That certain leadership, ministries, and churches possess a critical piece of what exactly God is doing in this very hour; how He is moving; and where He is going? The mistake you are making as His Body is
My Brothers and Sisters in the faith, the LORD thou God has one Body, and He is clearly speaking to His servants. But I must ask. Are you in this for the LORD thou God? Or are you in this for what you can gain out of this? For if you are in this for the LORD thou God, then you will not speak on your own initiative and for what you or your ministry or church can gain out of this. For you will ONLY speak whatever the LORD by means of His Spirit has spoken to you – while disclosing the things the LORD thou God have spoken to you to the entire Body of Christ because all things belong to the LORD (John 16:13-15).
The word of the lord
When the LORD God gives a word, it is for the sole purpose to teach, reproof, correct, or train His servants - His Body, so that every member within the Body of Christ may be adequate, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). For the LORD has given the Body of Christ apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the Saints for the work of service, to encourage one another, and to build up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Thessalonians 5:11).
