If I could share some of the unpleasant situations and stories that have been shared with me by some I've had the privilege to minister to, it would make you mad. If I let it, it can make me mad as well and cause, and even in some cases, force, me to choose sides. White. Black. Feminism. Homosexuality. Just choose. Take for instance, social justice programs and public marches like Black Lives Matter (😶), etc. I won’t go there today. Some things are just not worth going down that road for when some folks do not want to see the real agenda behind such corrupted and twisted programming. I say programming because that is what they really are trying to do. Deprogram the masses to only reprogram us to submit to their ungodly agendas like Black Lives Matter. Okay, I’m getting sidetracked. Moving on. Many of these social programs and alike are on the wrong side of the invisible spiritual battle that is taking place in our world that is directly influencing our local, big and small, communities. That is the people at large. GENUINE LOVE AND GRACEOne thing I'm NOT afraid of and am known for is addressing those hard problematic situations. Issues that most want to act like they don't exist but will whisper behind closed doors about this or that; that one or this one; or quietly say to themselves or to a very small circle privately that this or that is wrong. Now grant it. There is a time and a place for everything under the sun. But when we minister to the general public, Christians must be willing to get dirty and deal with it all. But of course, in a Christ-like manner. If you are truly in this for fulfilling what GOD has called all Christians to do. "... GO therefore and MAKE DISCIPLES of ALL THE NATIONS..." (Matthew 28:19). You can’t just preach, welcome, and invite whites only. Or segregated this congregation for blacks only. Okay, y’all get the point I’m making so I won't make my long laundry list. I am grateful that in the early stages of my rededication to Christ many years ago that He showed me the faces of heaven and its diversity. The diversity that is NOT covered up by the pretense and undertones of acceptance and tolerance. But the genuine love and grace that is being displayed between man and woman, the great and the small, the white and the black, etc. People whose hearts and minds that have been truly transformed and healed and have adopted the mind of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Resulting in true diversity in heaven in its purest form. We as Christians, cannot continue in this season idling our time by taking a complacent disposition in our local churches, businesses, or communities. We must stand for something or blindly fall for anything. When GOD spoke to me many years ago on this matter. Expressing to me, I must stand for something. He made it very clear the position HE wanted me to take by saying. "Deaidre, whenever I send you back into this community from which I rescue you. I want you to remember Joshua. The encounter Joshua had with the Commander of MY army.” (Read Joshua 5:13-15). GOD continued. “In fear, not knowing who the man was, Joshua asked MY Commander. 'Are you for us or for our adversaries?' Joshua was looking at this Commander from a humanist standpoint. Obviously, Joshua and this Commander were on the same side, on the same team. But did you notice how MY COMMANDER responded?" At the time, I didn't know. So, I responded no. Then GOD answered. "MY Commander stated that he was on neither side." the perfect example |
The word of the lordWhen the LORD God imparts a word, it is meant to teach, reprove, correct, or train His servants—the Body of Christ—so that every member may be equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The LORD has appointed apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for service, mutual encouragement, and building up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Thessalonians 5:11).
